Overview of economic system and current economic challenges (provide clear description

and explanation.

Lapaix’s economic system is ranked the 3rd largest and most advanced in the world. Due to the free market system of Lapaix, our citizens are allowed to make their own decisions, business wise, within a few government restrictions. Our country’s abundant supply of natural resources such as gold, diamonds and silver allow our country to maintain a high overall GDP of $2,268,135,000,000. This aids our country in maintaining a low debt amount. In previous years, our countries percentage of people who lived below the poverty line was double what it is now. We have been working extremely hard to bring down that 14% by creating more jobs and devising a better system to take care of those in need. Like mentioned above, a country near ours was drilling for oil and a rig leaked. This caused harm to our animals, including one of our main industries, fishing. We were able to work together with a neighboring country and clean up the water, restoring our fish and our fishing industry to normal once again.
